These are just trade schools who got greedy. The credits are not real and do not transfer to any 4 year state college period. It's just A crime that it's occuring. People in charge should go to jail for fraud.

I'm faculty in CA too. You are being very misleading. You can work your ass off all you want, straight A student but it has nothing to do with weather or not your college credits will transfer. You are conflating 2 different ideas that are unrelated. I know a lot of students who tried to transfer and had to start over. So yes, you can always go to another school after AI but you basically start over. Real schools do not have to accept a class if they think it's BS even if it was from an accredited school. And as we know, AI created a lot of fake degrees that dont exist in the normal world. Oh uh, excuse me, I meant Market Driven degrees. (in case the boss is reading)

Go to a community college and save the money and headache. Your credits will transfer easily.
No legit college will accept these garbage credits with the curriculum being done in a hotel room over a weekend because the college needs a new course to offer, These people can say what ever they want about Accreditation, bottom line is respectable colleges are not going to accept them because the are aware of the For Profit Colleges and how they operate.
It just depends on which school you went to, and thus what their specific accreditation is.
If it's a regionally accredited school your credits will transfer anywhere. If it's a nationally accredited school, your credits will transfer to any nationally accredited school.
However it also depends on the curriculum of the school you wish to transfer to - the specfic classes you took at your EDMC school need to reasonably match up to the classes in the curriculum of the program you want to go to.
This would be the case with any school that you could have gone to, state university or edmc school. It just depends on the accreditation of your school and the classes you took. There are plenty of reasons to bash EDMC but this isn't one of them. If anything it underscores one of the real reasons to bash EDMC: the willful stupidity of the students it accepts.

Prove to me that Argosy, Brown Mackie and South credits are accepted at Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State or any State College in the United States. I doubt you can show proof that even the Ai credits are accepted at these State Colleges. Please post some real colleges so I can see if they will take my credits. Don't waste my time with your For Profit College Propaganda. That is why you are being shut down in the first place. Real Colleges do not close.

That is the problem 85584 most of EDMC schools are national accreditation and do not transfer to Disney World! I know Im a former student who got taken a sucker. Least I only wasted a little time before I left.
Apparently you do not understand Regional Accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission. Lower Division credits are transferable between all schools when they meet the same class description. So, a LD math or psych or English etc. are transferable. So, to rail about fraud and to sound less that informed about college, as a whole, is embarrassing for you. Sit back and let the adults handle this forum. You have no clue what you are saying. Go back to bed.
