trust me, I have reasons.

Dear Leader phenomenon. You are expected to always agree with your dear leader, maybe marginally less during BTS. But always, otherwise.
-
Dear leaders are forever quoted and praised by all other lower leaders. "Canada is a great decision" "Jodee is the best CXO ever" "Steinhaffel is the epitome of Leadership"
-
One must never be blunt or talk on point.
-
Problems are called "opportunities". Never ever admitted and addressed straight.
-
One uniform to bind them. Red, incidentally.
-
Every leadership decision, even the wrong ones (your guts tell you and you're always proven right later on), are propagated as the most awesomely brilliant business decision ever by lower leaders.
-
Non leaders worship their leaders. If anyone doesn't, HR opens your page in one note.
-
Confused identity. Cheap? Inexpensive? Discounted? Trendy? Fashionable?
-
No one gives a f***. Rest of the world has moved on.
-
Leadership Expectations!!
-
Meetings define you.
-
Your competence is used for the most mundane shit. They want the best talent and they can afford it, to do the most menial, repetitive jobs, and these superstars (target is full of some great talent) are made to report to idiotic, incompetent, disconnected with the current times dear leaders whose only reason to exist is their tenure.
-
A KMG has to meet 3 HR, 1-2 leaders, 3-4 DRs, 4-6 sub DRs, 3-4 cross dept leaders, 3-4 peers and 3-4 misc people and
8-10 TMs every week over statuses that are expected/cumpulsory. Now 35 meetings can't possibly leave time for you to be productive.
Oh wait, there is LE paperwork to fill! Just in case you had some time.
This is in jest and an attempt at sarcasm. I may not be very good at it, so please avoid trolling! Do add your own. And remember to pay your respects to your dear leader while you're at it.
