Anonymous69886: That's BS. Most people I know at Socle check this site out, at least occasionally. I can't personally confirm that instructors have been told to have student friends on Facebook. Obviously it's not through their personal account. can an instructor confirm that they're setting up accounts for you? If so, you can just ignore, maybe check them once every couple of weeks just in case someone posts something that needs a reply. It's unlikely - FaceBook is for old people. Students aren't going to be impressed or interested. I'll bet BW or someone came up with this oh so clever plan to be hip and cool.

654, your instructors would LOVE to just teach and do work related to instruction (lesson plans, finding new tools to help you learn better, and grading papers). Unfortunately, that has become less and less of our job description in the awful company.
