@ op...There is no excuse for lying to students. What happened to you is inexcusable. Hopefully the Dept. of Ed. cleans this mess.
However, you also have the responsibility of fact checking and speaking to other colleges with nursing programs. You would not believe a used car salesperson, why would you believe a for profit college rep?
Hopefully, you learn from this and be cautious with selecting your nursing school. I wish you all the best of luck in your medical career.
It is awful this happened to you, I would encourage you to file a complaint with the CA A.G. office.
