All - how likely is it that we will be having pay cuts tomorrow? I've see some folks indicate that this is a likely outcome of many meetings that are scheduled all over Target tomorrow. Also, if we decide to have pay cuts, don't you think that there will be a mass exodus of folks that are skilled and top performers? Not sure if our execs are taking that in consideration.

sad thing is target hq honestly believes they are doing the right thing. why not just duplicate what was WORKING 10 years ago. TREAT your TEAM like they mean something. Investors will be happy because your TEAM is happy. WOW what a concept.

I have a really good source who sits in meeting that have the very top execs (ceo, etc) and they were discussing paycuts over layoff. Think about it. Yes... there will be a mass exodus, all of which will NOT get a release package.
I have no knowledge of what's going to happen tomorrow, but I would be very surprised if target offered pay cuts. My guess is that either you're ok, fired, or position is eliminated. And I think there will be reorgs announced at HQ as well.

If there's a pay cut I'm gone. Target likes to make you think you won't find a better job elsewhere. Well, in the past 6 months we've had about 5 people leave our team, all for better jobs outside Target. There is life after Target and it is good.
This is highly unlikely.
Top performers are already gone, I consider myself to be damaged goods and will stick around as long as I can
