So was the 9am meetings for those being laid off? I am on vacation and was told to expect a call later today since I was not able to attend the meeting
Cutting up my Target card, cancelling my account, and spreading the word. Good luck in the next fiscal year, Target. Business will keep plummeting...won't be crying any tears for those left.
FYI meetings being scheduled in the early afternoon.

Good luck and all the best. There is a life after Target. And most of the time it is a good one.
Little consolation for those getting the layoff notices. Finding a job in today's market isn't the easiest, and Target knew prior to hiring some of these people that Canada was having issues. This gets put on Target for putting so many lives/careers in jeopardy. Shame on Target. And Brian, hope you sleep well at night. Bad business.
My heart goes out to everyone affected.
Hang in there, folks. If you end up not making it through this morning, the experience you've gained while working at Target, either for a year or 30, will be useful as you start anew. If Target does anything right, it's putting focus on the value of relationship building. For those that were earnest about that piece alone, there will be a silver lining for more of you than not.
Me too. So I guess that means I'm done.
Since others on my team did not get an invite
Same here....HR. I didn't get one but my Canada teammate did. Guess that means I'm in the clear?
Which all department?
I got one too (I'm in HR). Only my Canada support peers got invited. Small room.
