Things are heating up for sure, just look at this board, all posts have thousands of views, that's a very good indication that things are about to escalate and that we will have a MASSIVE LAYOFF. It was like this last time we went through the cuts, and there is no reason to think otherwise. I am surprised that we do not have more info leaking, last time we had better luck with folks giving us hints here. I've been on this site for more than year, and I can tell you that I have never seen threads with 4, 5 thousand views, so there is definitely something brewing and people are anxious as they feel layoffs are coming. OK, I get it, Canada will be annihilated soon so that may be playing into the counts, but at the same time I really think that they have crafted a major layoff plan that's about to be moved into an execution phase sometimes this or next week. We'll see, to me it looks like February 2015 will be the month of major if not the biggest job cuts as Target. Good luck to all of us and I wish you go through this round of layoffs without being affected.

Take the package, their is a reason why Target is not listed in the top 100 companies to work for in Minnesota,. Profits first, guest 2nd, team last.. They had some talent at some vp levels but over the last few months many of those have been quietly purged away. The SGM level is a cest pool with inbred teams of arrogant used car salesmen and woman, that talk about the plan, convince everyone the plan is need, then bail on the plan after partially executed for the next hot plan try to create value for their role. I have never seen so much money wasted on program improvements, with decisions made that will later cost the company millions to fix later? SGMs. Cut the whole layer out, I say.. Get some managers who are humble, value their teams, and know how to lead, not just be a absent manager who likes to hear themselves talk from the barker chair.
