I joined recently but I am concerned that we may have layoffs soon. My old employer (a competitor) had 10 weeks baseline pay plus two weeks for every year of service (has to be a full year) you had with the company. Also, there was a lump sum payment that depended on your position and placement help through a third party company.

They also let us keep the computers and gadgets (phones, tablets) - we had to give the hard drives back.
