Seems like activity has dropped off on this board lately. I take this to mean there were no Christmas-cheer layoffs.

I don't think it makes a difference. Anybody that had some place to go or was worth hiring has already left. The only ones still here are people that no one else wants. The merit increase could be zero and they still won't lose anybody.
This board will become active if the low merit does not encourage enough to leave.

This site will delete anything critical of their political ideology.
