WINNING!
I’m looking forward to spending a lot more time with my family, and picking up some hobbies that have been neglected way too long.
I’m hoping I won’t miss the office and the people I work with, but that’s probably just New Years optimism talking.
$60 oil and continued lack of a coherent strategy. A bit of tail wagging when our management announces an investment in US or Canadian LNG - only because they have nothing else to invest in.
My expectation is that every time I write a date, it will end in 25.
Everything is going to be p-o p-o just like every other time the GQP wingnuts take over.
Everyone disagreeing with @qsc hasn't even stated a logical backing to their concerns... Any brave soul willing to use their brain? Or are we all going to get left behind fighting?
Look, this isn’t all about “The Bay Area”! They obviously have been living the good life and most of them would never give that “lifestyle” to live in Houston! That would be way below them. 2025 in one way or another will be a new beginning for a lot of people and you can’t control it. The Bay Area people have their nice expensive houses to eventually fall back on, they will be just fine.
Deep breath, please !
In 2025, craft your personal plan for what will serve you best (go to Houston, if offered?; find another job in the Bay Area before getting a termination bonus?) and go forward.
A little perspective is your "best friend" during these tumultuous times--- don't let CVX management ruin your day
