My, I’m sad to see such a mismanaged company is still around. I worked for HP before they the divided it up. I was great working globally from home. Roughly 12k a year raise… for the first 5 years, which turned into a few thousand as a bonus once Meg got her hands on things. Then into well you really performed above expectations, but I can only give you a satisfactory rating because there are no raises or bonuses. Needless to say it turned into a toxic work place pretty fast. DXC managers were literally useless. I was use to having a weekly 15min catchup with my manager to discuss what was in progress and what was coming up. I was suddenly transferred to a DXC manager, and couldn’t even get responses to email or vmail from him. They turfed all the HP managers and long term employees with knowledge. This left teams floundering, all the team’s contacts and departments with knowledge were gone. Made servicing clients day to day needs impossible in a timely manner. Which lead to clients leaving because ppl they had forged relationships with over the years disappeared overnight. I was on 6 fortune 100 accounts. When my time came to be “package out”, since I was an old HP employee. Package was calculated to be just enough that my attorney said I can get you more, but they will stall and eat it up in fees. I was angry at first, but I finally got to talk to the DXC manager I was transferred to 2 years earlier. No, he did not have a clue what I did. I made sure my accounts knew who to contact. They were angry, and let me know he was useless as well…lol. 2 accounts wanted to absorb me into their account teams. DXC said too bad. After that I faced so much ageism trying to get hired despite having global experience it became a joke sending out resumes. I eventually gave up. Now being several years past the experience I realized how stressful my job was. 40-60 emails a day, the calls at all hours from co-workers, clients & other teams looking for help. Can’t say I mess it at all.
