Out of the many places I’ve worked, this is where leadership feels the weakest. There are so many things missing - vision, commitment, and a plan for the future. Without better leaders steering the ship, it’s hard to see how we can do well. Something’s got to change up top, and fast.

The Board got played by the chief, this is why there’s no succession plan and we have to drop millions for a search. This just a legal kickback scheme. We will drop millions for a firm like Scamberry to find the new CEO.

No one is shedding a tear for USAA the way they have treated people both their employees and customers the last 4 or so years.
If you are confused, read BoD profiles. Majority of them don’t have a clue.
I will admit that I was pleased when W.P. was promoted to the top, as we had worked together a little bit in the past. My experiences with him were always positive. Fast forward a few years, and I'm happy to see him preparing to leave.
Nothing will change, the board is AWOL and they refuse to accept reality. The board should be holding EMG accountable but they won’t do nothing. USAA board is pathetic!
