I have reviewed your plan for laying off non expat employees in overseas locations, while maintaining and even increasing some teams in HOU. Reducing lower cost employee numbers while maintaining the more expensive per person US payroll is not what I had I’m mind when I asked you to cut cost. Please resubmit your plan with reduced US payroll employees.

Australia, Nigeria, Angola and a couple others are higher pay than US payroll, especially at higher PSGs.
U.S. payroll is far from the most expensive in Chevron.
