I had completed an extremely challenging technology project at the enterprise level that revolutionized the company’s software deployment—a groundbreaking achievement. I led the entire project from inception to completion.
One day, I returned home to find a brown paper bag on my lobby floor, addressed to me from Capone. In my kitchen, I opened it to reveal a cheap necklace with a dirty ribbon and a scrap metal medal. This was their thank-you gift for leading the entire corporation. Capone is cheap and vulgar, and this gift reflected that. I was furious. I immediately threw it into the kitchen trash can, disgusted by the disrespect, and dramatically shoved the entire trash bag down the chute with a flourish. I felt so dirty, so exploited, so demeaned. It was like being knighted with a rusty spoon. Honestly, I’ve seen better jewelry washed up in the sewer. And they even had the nerve to put me on a coaching plan. I got out of it by shouting at my manager like it was an animal. This manager was a l-wlife who stole credit for my work, got a promotion and Spot awards from my hard work because they were too d-mb, stupid, and lazy to accomplish anything on their own. That animal was even congratulated and recognized by the CEO, based on my sweat equity and toil.
Capone is an alpha usurer and a menace to its employees and customers. It must be shut down, period. I didn't want any diseases from that cheap jewelry.
