Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

There is never an effective solution

VP’s, VP of Staff, and Directors are great at being middle men no direction, no effective way to work solutions but great at passing endless initiatives without foresight into how these initiatives are achievable with current aged technology, new vendor platforms that are defective, and department understaffing. Ready for a fresh start out of Anthem. It’s not going to get better only more layoffs, jobs going international, and excessive burden on understaffed teams. And the best is little to no merit or bonus in 2025. I’m done.

There are so many Director's and Staff VP's that are basically empty chairs. They have no decision making desires that could point back to them.

Learn what a “middle manager”
is before you post blathering b s. You should be working fast food or retail based on your business knowledge.

We always know what we are talking about and love our 250K+ salaries. Work hard and maybe you too can be like us.

They have no idea what they are talking about. They are a waste of money and should be fired!

Ideas are recycled and reworded with no real understanding. Bringing in cheaper labor to “save” a few bucks, but what execs don’t seem to understand is that we are actually still working the same problems just presented slightly different year after year. What could have been solved with a year of $$$, is still being worked with years of $,$,$,$,$,$.

Right there with you. I’m exhausted…it shouldn’t be this way. Overworked, severely underpaid, and no resources.
