Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Merry Christmas to everyone...

...except the C-suite execs who fired half of us and made the other half work twice as hard for half the cubicle space.

I’d love to see all the managers of managers get the boot. What do they actually do other than drain resources? They keep getting rid of the people who actually do the work.

Im sure the c suite and managing committee did a lot of the dirty work but I'm also disappointed by middle management.

To keep their jobs they quickly fell in line and adopted the behaviors of the people they know caused the mess.

Merry Christmas to all of the good people. May the New Year 2025 bring prosperity to us, the average working class and gloom to the C-suite and managing committee.

Second that! And also told what seems most of us that we:

  1. should go even beyond our current roles while doing the work of 3 people
  2. need to be more accommodating even when this was the biggest shake up year to date
  3. show more leadership when there is no leadership from the top

2025 is the year of acting your wage!
Congrats for encouraging many of us to totally emotionally disconnect!
