Is this comparable to when two very old widowers decide be roommates and live out their remaining days?

Good for the two entities and thier leadership for working towards a merger. The industry needs more consolidation. Neither businesses investors spend any time thinking about workers, so you should not think about the business and instead find another company/career.
Somebody here drives a Nissan Altima.
Can you look at the Java UI and not have your lunch exit the wrong hole? That is not a transferable skill! The rest of the world moved on 2 decades ago!
"The Java infestation of the controller"
Somebody here is very obsessed with Java. Java is used in some components in both office and production, but it's hardly significant.
If only anyone knew what is going on in Xerox today ..company going in all directions to nowhere…
Forget OFFICE, what is going on with PRODUCTION??
I see strong parallels between this and the proposed Nissan/Honda merger. The Java infestation of the controller, making it look like Lotus Notes, was criminal. Ideally, we should round up Java developers and Nissan Altima drivers and throw them all in jail.
Xerox is here for another 100 years so stop your whining. For those Taco Bell workers still acting like jealous ex girlfriends, you now know deep in your heart, that Xerox is here to stay. Keep drinking the haterade and choke on it.
Good Lord All You People should have left this place in the dust, years ago!!
There is a difference between loyalty and outright foolishness.
Many prefer to land on their feet and move on, opposed to being crushed by false assurances, and half truths.
You cannot say you were not warned, but like many here, you will pretend that everything stated here to warn you, is a non issue… soon you can take can take control of what’s left of this company, for 400$ in S&H greenstamps.
Do you mean SteveB and Bonehead Bruno ?
Forget OFFICE, what is going on with PRODUCTION??
Xerox is like candles without wicks.
Useless…to say the least.
This is like when KMart bought Sears

I think this will actually accelerate layoffs on the XRX side. Cost synergies means duplication of staff after the combination so half need to go. SB games no respect for the XRX workers. I expect heavy layoffs in both entities with the work offshored. The goal has to be to get the LEX revenue without the cost. Won’t work but as we know the company is led by simpletons.
Yep. Two wrongs don’t make a right
For those who have 5 or so years left it is not the worst news.
It might matter what your position is but most will probably hang out a little longer
The one roommate offs the other old roommate for his meds, tapioca and hard candy... Increase the Dividend!
Agree with first reply….
From prior post…
“Leave if you are still whining and get another job, or get on-board earn your pay and try and do your job!”
You couldn’t just provide your useless thoughts in the current Lexmark post below? Must hurt your little heart that Xerox is here to stay and will continue to irk you with its existence.
