Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

How many are hoping to start the new year with a new job?

Most of the people around me are looking for a way out. Is this true for the entire company?

Many have left or retired, lots are planning to do so, this is a toxic environment that is just going to pile more work on less people to then tell you how you are not making the grade.

Glad it’s not just me. I love my direct team but miserable with leadership and the unrealistic goals/no appreciation. Also have a terrible direct manager and I know as a high performer I can find a less toxic workplace. 2024 was a bad year for the jobs market so I’m hoping and praying it looks better in Q1 so many of us can move on to better working environments!

Leadership has lost its way. No wonder why we never got our annual satisfaction survey

Already sending updated resumes out to recruiters. It doesn't sound like AIP in March is going to be worth waiting around for.....

Praying for a new season of my career. Elevance is not the place. Thankful for a job but it’s just too chaotic, work overload, no support or direction, lack of fundamental resources, too many initiatives without proper execution or finish and lack of leadership that drives initiative solutions.

A lot of people are starting with a new company effective January 1, 2025. A lot of departments are going with Mosaic.

It's already started to happen, OP. Leadership needs to buckle up for 1st quarter.
