Sales running off good customers

We recently had a rash of business sales, that had us have to cut in CWDM at buildings
to initially thought this was a good thing. after talking to the customer he explained he got a call from a salesman they were increasing his rates by 25% so he ordered this 2nd circuit through wholesale and was immediately disconnecting the original circuit once installed. He also disconnected Office Suite went to another provider. This seems to be going on all over town now. More wasted time for Engineering, Techs, and wasted money on equipment for less revenue. I talked to one of the directors about this he said the sales people should only be going after customers like this if they are on antiquated tech like Copper T1, not existing Fiber customers.

@1hrf+1w6iZvKx This just sounds like more churning of the existing customer base that has been quietly sanctioned by all of management ever since they bought
a bunch of smaller companies. Been going on for at least a decade. It has to be at the point now where most of their clients won’t take calls from them anymore and lock the doors from the receptionist desk if they show up in person.

Doesn’t surprise me in Lexington! Wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t dude from elizabethtown doing it either! I’ve seen some questionable things happen and management just overlook it like it was no big deal!

Why not engage their assigned Customer Success Manager for assistance? If nobody is assigned, can’t Customer Care help the client?

We still have customers running on t1 circuits & sales will not contact them to switch them over.
