Just for the Starlink pumper that has infected this forum. Overpriced, slow speed and only of any use in areas that have septic and wells.

“No it was $90 a month. Yea I work for Lumen why else would I be in here unless I’m a washed up former that has no other life. No I had no congestion. Obviously I said better then 90% because it is better then our copper fed dsl which is still a majority of our service. So hmm why don’t I have it? Because if the other 10%. You must have a math and reading problem.”
lol, ex satellite guy calling someone washed up. You go on with your bad self.
Starlink cellular is not a direct service from Starlink. It's a partnership between cellular companies like T-Mobile. Starlink satellites become a source of signal. You still pay your cellular companies and not to Starlink.

“Besides the price? So, like 150 bucks a month for Starlink? So you’re a beta? I mean beta tester. Before it got congested correct? And you actually started getting charged the real price? You no longer have it? Why not? Did it get too congested with its current 100 ms plus latency? You say we…as in you work for lumen? I pay 70 dollars a month for 1 gig up and down. Latency is 8 ms. 3 years and it’s never been down. Starlink is better than that? I agree, in places where better more economical service isn’t available it’s a fine choice. But if it was really that great you’d still have it. And you are correct. I’m not an Elon musk ho-k. I’d bet you are one of the fools that hated Elon and his liberal electric cars 2 years ago but now are on your knees in front of him.“
“As a beta tester and subscriber for 2 years with Starlink before I no longer needed I can tell you your post is ignorant. Besides the price it is better than 90% of what we offer our customers. Before I gave it up I was getting 300 mbps download and 100 upload with latency under 50. My kids gamed on it and I was able to stream at the same time. It was buggy during the beta days. I also used to work for Satellite company and I would install Hughes and Wild blue and that service was garbage. You’re probably just an anti Elon Musk liberal. He has offered so many people around the world a way to connect. And next time your lost in the mountains and you can actually call 911 you should remember Starlink.”

“What if Elon bought the whole legacy copper(DSL) rural business and jettisoned Space X Rocket Ship style the Union dead weight once the majority of conversions took place which should be long if it's so good comparatively?”
Get a better translator to English comrade.
If I lived rural Starlink would be great. Copper service is useless in the last mile and no one is pushing their fiber out regardless of the government subsidies. As for price? Seems extremely expensive compared to what’s available in cities.
There is little doubt that fiber is better... But in places there isn't access to fiber.. Starlink is a great service and it's economical when you are able to get rid of satellite TV
/once the majority of conversions took place which should NOT be long if it's so good comparatively?/
No I don’t hike with Starlink. Starlink is the first to work with a cell provider to allow satellite connectivity with your already owned cell device when you have no regular coverage.

Guessing that Lumen fiber on ExaSwitch was not functioning?
You haul your Starlink out into the mountains while hiking? Mad props.
Regardless, since when does one need Starlink to call for SOS? My Garmin does just fine for that.

Well, septic, and 1G symmetrical fiber.
It's better in rural than any of the 5G wireless offerings. Goodbye DSL. Not everyone wants to live on top of each other. It also works better than HughesNet. It works pretty well actually.
