With a redundant general manager and ops general manager it’s no wonder why this company is bleeding cash out.

The reorganization didn’t really make decisive decisions with leadership…they aren’t drilling and they renamed Superintendents to Senior Managers. They also added cogen senior manager so the dude that just left is probably coming back.

Like I mentioned in previous topics, we will hold onto KR due to the liability and we will have it until it’s remediated. All other assets could be sold if there are interested suitors.

CVX can just Hang onto the reserves until 2050 when the shale bo-m is over and the federal government mandates all states to produce as much oil as possible and CEQA is struck down

Death by 1,000 cuts, literally. You know any heavy oil operations anywhere, any company, that are succeeding right now? Diminished capital, diminished production, eventually no work. Others here are right, Chevron will have to hang on to SJBU properties forever as there won't be any buyers willing to accept shutdown and remediation costs.

It’s dying and dying fast. The more wells lost to SE the more cuts on the horizon. Eventually it will be barren land that the company will retain.

Performative operations until the end of time to escape dealing with closure and clean up costs. More and more cuts.

Close down Energy Center. Office staff go to Kern River and/or Houston. VP and GM leadership into another BU new design to cut out highest cost people. Ops barely touched again?
