Used to work for Chevron for 14 years, started with Oxy on November 2021, bonus are better at Oxy, payment is better at Oxy, Chevron may cut your job.... But not your work experience.

OXY su-ks just as its stock price su-ks. You downgraded
I was laid off in 2020. The life outside of Chevron has been much happier, fulfilling, and better!
There is a dark period where you may not know what’s going to happen… But in hindsight, life is much better working for another company in oil and gas.

Lies. Have worked for Oxy and Chevron. Oxy pay was significantly worse. Not even same ballpark.
Hey, everyone who decides to participate in this industry understands you roll the dice! You are very well compensated and that’s why you stay! I know I just always survive these inconvenient detours in the road of oil and gas!, (they obviously really like me)! Yes there are many great companies out there! Good luck!
I'm sure there's posts on the Oxy layoff site that say the same exact thing about CVX. Next year it could be you. Can't escape it in this industry.
I use to work with Oxy and switched to Chevron. My pay, bonuses and benefits are much better here and always have been -although currently at risk of a layoff but that's routine everywhere. Not sure where you are getting your recent CVX pay/benefit info, unless you are just trolling.
