We are bloated and slow

If we had fewer but more competent managers and someone on the top existing in this century, I’m sure we would do better. This way the only thing we are good at is shedding talent. Skilled people do not stick around for a reason.

Trezise was following the orders of Storey. No merit increases ever! You have to take on extra work with a promise of a raise that still won’t come. Yes we are fools for staying but I’m so close to retirement I don’t care!

CTL stopped caring about retaining talent when Scott Trezise suspended company wide merit increases in 2014/2015. Then you had to gather up the courage to beg for an increase from then on...or be the teachers (managers) pet. Then you may get something.
Ive worked with CTL/L3 people still here who are 7-8-9 years without a raise. All fools. Every one of us.

They do not want to worry about Customers here, well anyone that isn't a 5 digit customer or more, everything is being sold off that requires maintenance, Big hitting contracts, to heck with those little people, issuing to customers switch or lose service notices and depleting Copper base to make the argument for no support to regulators due to small share or under 75 percent utilization of the copper network being viable. As stated then Company can have contractors mine out old copper and get a cut of the sale. Don't pay to do that either let it be another's headache and get a nice payout.

Level 3 still is moving our network onto theirs. Whoever buys us can offer those customers to go onto their network and have them drop Level 3.

This company quit investing and securing talent when the lumen crew took over. From sales to engineering to techs this joint just looked at employees as a number and drain on the bottom line. All while the executives celebrated themselves and their “ideas” on the “transformational journey”.
