I was hired as an employee of talech within CBB and was part of November layoff.
Seems like there are layoffs about every 6 months. I thought for sure this was never going to hit me in CBB.
There were dozens of s of people impacted in CBB and what I’m learning is there were many more outside of CBB. Why wasn't there a Warn? Anyone else find they were outside of a hub location? Honestly I was treated fairly with the severance and bonus payout but still stings and want to know WHY when I’ve had nothing but great performance reviews and relationships across teams. Maybe age, gender, and salary? Tour thoughts are really appreciated

I worked for the bank over 25 years ago, what a dumpster.
I was impacted in April and I had been with U. S. bank for almost 30 years. I always had excellent reviews and was making a good wage to support my family. The bank was good to me with my severance and everything, but it still hurts. I always went above and beyond and either delivered my projects on time or earlier than expected. I was also an active volunteer.
One of my great anxieties now is to be able to afford health insurance.
It’s not right that our jobs are being outsourced to India, Philippines, and Poland.
In my last position, my manager was from India and it was very apparent that if you were not from his preferred demographic, you were treated differently.
All my years at the bank I have NEVER, experienced that kind of discrimination/treatment. I lived through both the Grundhofers and was treated way better and had great relationships with many seniors leaders.
I know a few people in CBB who went through a similar experience. One, in particular, had eight years of outstanding performance, yet they were let go along with the others impacted.
It’s painful to process, especially after giving your all to a company, only to be discarded so unceremoniously. The sting of that realization doesn’t fade quickly.
What is CBB?
Has nothing to do with performance, you wee just higher paid. Sorry. .Unfortunately anyone who's reading my comment will eventually be leaving either voluntary or involuntarily. Good luck to you.
