Honestly, T-Mobile is full of toxic leaders who are egotistical and arrogant, thinking they know more than anyone on their team, even though those team members are the ones who actually allow those so-called leaders to garner recognition for the very success the team members generated. Those leaders take credit for the work and even have the audacity to discount said contributors. What’s really funny is some of those leaders read these posts and take it personally. Why? Because they know they are suspect and are feeling inept. They then lash out at their team saying thing like, “There better not be anyone on this team posting online about the team!” It’s no wonder why people are silently quitting and no longer contributing at all high level. I’ve had enough and will be finding a different job. The old saying that states that people don’t quit their job, they quit their boss.

Sadly enough, TMO has a taste of the blood money and can't get off the dr-g. It makes me sad to see the company right now. They used to listen to us at the frontline but it appears they already have an agenda and it doesn't include us that stuck with the company. Unfortunately, my whole 19 year work history is TMobile and I feel lost now. As a RDM, it worries me that my leadership can't be trusted. It's sad when your Director tells you to keep things simple when explaining anything to our SVP Terry or VP Mike. He says it's because execs just want results and may not comprehend what people really do. What breeds a toxic environment? Our director openly admitted to reopening a job req after it closed during our first round of job cuts to make sure someone he wanted to get the position. He didn't even allow others to interview for it and give others a fair shot. DEI anybody????
He says he gives recommendations when you apply to new jobs, but doesn't but pretends he did. He makes us drive him around like an uber when he visits, as a female it makes me uncomfortable, but I can't say anything. When new market priorities launch , he has no problem forcing people to work mandatory 12 (open/close) in shifts in privately owned stores for several days just so he could report back to Terry that his area was good for sales. At one time we had two strong females leaders in our area, who do you think he made go shopping, take notes, plan events, order food, manage his travel agendas? Hmmm....That's not even scratching the surface.....then you wonder why we think the company we work for is toxic. It's the leaders like W that don't care about others, only how they look to their bosses. People are expendable in their eyes.
If you want Metro to be better, allow people to do their jobs. W stop making your leaders do extra assignments so you can look better. The reason why your area fails W is because of you and the need to show your peers up. Also stop talking bad about Mike, Terry and Jon. (Your voice surveys proves you do it) You should feel lucky to have a job. Decrease the lies and toxicity and help us make our company stronger. You're not as smart as you think you are and stop making people feel inferior to you W. Maybe if you did your job and manage the whole sellers yourself, maybe you would succeed. Do your job and hold the metro wholesalers accountable through your own expectations you set with them. Don't be a bi--h and make others do more work because you feel you are beneath your role.
I hope the toxicity goes away soon. Been supporting metro for A LONG time and our business is broken. I wish during one of the financial meetings, someone asks about the fraud that occurs. Directors look the other way and blame it on Terry. Sr Managers blame it on their directors. Whole sellers steal from the small business owners which forces the doors to commit fraud to meet t-mobiles monthly rankers. Those bagging on Winston, he's a decent leader but has the EQ of a rock. He is what the company wants, a metrics over people person. I'll continue to support him till he burns us. Then we unionize. Please no more cuts, fix the metro side and get rid of the bad locations, if you don't then it proves that they are okay with fraud and the toxic world that TMO created
The only thing sprint peoples be good for is making carbon dioxide’s
T-mobile made their bed when they brought over a lot of the bad Sprint Leaders from the merger. I remember being forced to sell a certain speaker daily, slam our customers with insurance or extra lines. Daily job threatening was the norm. Someone mentioned Winston as a director, he was the worst as it comes. He was the most passive aggressive leader using his district managers to specifically target employees while trying to paint an image that he was actually listening to his employees. Everyone hated him but played the game. Thank goodness he's on the metro side and not destroying our postpaid business. I hope the best for my company and no layoffs happen. We are over worked as it is on a skeleton crew!
O the bible thumper: I'm fresh out of amens. This isn't the place for your religious BS.
To OP: there are a lot of bad leaders, but also many good ones. Ask around until you find a leader you will like, network with them, and join their team when they have an opening.
What really su-ks are some of the new so-called leaders who think they know everything because they have a college degree that is essentially worthless. They spew sh-t about what’s written in management books but are so out of touch with reality it’s ridiculous. Then, one has to contend with their tyrannical actions, with them talking down to others, while trying to glorify themselves. Of course, their insecurity leads them to this site daily to see if someone wrote something that pertains to their actions or themselves so they can rant further. It’s utterly ridiculous and pathetic.
We should stage a mass walkout in the new year.
Still waaaaaayyyyy too many VPs, SVPs, EVPs, etc.
Sprint people are worthless. Only good for making carbon dioxide.
Back on 9/22/2024, @OP+1uDS47Yv stated ”Sprint is TOXIC”. What’s with all the toxicity? ”Can’t we all just get along?”

What an entitled, ungrateful bunch of people. This is what’s wrong with America. The company is going quite well and doing the best it can. You’ve been rewarded handsomely.
I’m so sick of the lazy white women who think they are minority and deserve special privileges.
Best words on this website so far, "Of course, all of this has only been able to continue because of the appreciation in the stock price. Once that begins to turn, the knives will come out, and they will eat each other alive."
LOL, the downvote bots just woke up.
Definitely some of the most toxic, delusional, and UNETHICAL people I have ever worked with in my entire career. I do not know how people continue to fall in line with the things these people ask.
It starts at the top with Mike, Jon, Mike K, and Callie, and the culture of lies and fear that they have created, and it goes all the way down to every level of leadership. I have never seen people be so consistently wrong about everything from 2020 onward, and yet unable to admit any of their mistakes. Instead, they pat themselves on the back, give themselves promotions, and endless magenta circlej--ks and hype-sessions.
The real, thus far irreparable damage, in the aftermath of 2020 is that they broke the trust in the organization, and trust, which is easily lost, is very, very difficult to regain. They lied to and propagandized the entire company, and they got rich off of it, but at the cost of their reputations, and any respect people might have otherwise had for them.
Of course, all of this has only been able to continue because of the appreciation in the stock price. Once that begins to turn, the knives will come out, and they will eat each other alive.
Unfortunately, I don't see anything changing in this company until there are firings and resignations at the highest levels, until they get rid of all contractors, and get Deutsch Telekom and SoftBank to divest from the company. Return the work and ownership of the company to the actual workers in the United States, and maybe we can move forward from there.
Happy Holidays to all of those who work hard, act ethically, and don't participate in these stupid corporate games.
If you ever worked in Chicago under the director Winston, then you know first hand about toxic work environment. I can’t believe things have gotten this bad but all we can do is just wait for those severance packages.
Who gives a fu-k? Everyone knows that this company su-ks. It’s just a matter of whether one wants to stick around and put up with tyrannical, egotistical leaders or to move on. There are a lot of people, including myself, who are just waiting for the bonus payout and then we’re gone. In the meantime, I’ve decided to silently quit. So STFU
I was laid off this month with a severance package. Best Christmas gift ever.
