Removing Trash Cans During Cold & Flu Season

I’m not sure if all of the Hubs no longer have trash cans at the desks but the Philly area had ours yanked.

Stellar money saving idea from the management team - especially during the height of cold and flu season. I’m sure no one will be leaving used tissues on their desk during the day.

For my in office days, I prepare by eating lots of foods with hickory root. This vastly increase intestinal vapors. Sadly, this alone results in lower body gaseous expulsions with all report, but no bouquet.

I learned that including adding a diet of dried fruits, solidified liquid meats and game animals (especially random varmints).

I gaaaronteee the entire floor is not happy with my continual intestinal rebellion. Trash Cans are the least of their problems.

working together!

I didn’t fall for any of the psyops and did not take the jabs but I strongly disagree with seat sharing. Regardless there is a flu, cold or whatever going around always. I don’t care to come in to an office where I feel like I’m in a barn full of animals thrown at any open space that I have to clean myself because we’re now told that we are the cleaning crew too. Commuting hours 3 days a week is no work life balance. Fu-k this sh-t. These higher ups lost their fu--ing minds.

I clearly remember the no post it buying rule. I was in shock too. Like what do you mean we can’t order post it notes? It has gotten much stranger since those days. Now we get to work on somebody’s snotty keyboard. Gross.

This reminds me of the time that Grundhofer would not allow us to purchase post it notes and pens. He actually told up to take free pens from other companies to use. 3M, who was a big client found out that we were not allowed to purchase post it notes and threatened to pull their accounts.

Why is this shocking? It goes with all the terrible decisions that have been made over the past couple years.

Never for that deadly vx for 19 and never will. Stop being sleepies.

I do hate RTO and old white men thinking not outside the box tho.

WFH is more productive, safer and more life balance.

Boomers, GenX, Millennial and GenZ are all united against archaic thinking like this! We all agree RTO us BS!

I just leave my trash in one of the many unused offices. Oh sorry, they get used once a week by the SVP's

Bank leaders sold out to co-mie mafia. No personal space for you, no trash bin for you, no job for you. Shut the bank down then if you hate us. We do all the work but are the most hated.

For the past 20 years before COVID when I had my own desk at work I always turned the trash can upside down. What a waste. Yes I can walk to the recycle area on my own. People complaining about your tissues…stay home and get better soon.

I don’t understand the whining about not having a personal trash bin at each desk.

Plastic bags are needed for each. It’s a lot of waste. And labor to empty and replace. We are destroying the earth collectively.

You can’t just eliminate or reduce your use of things causing trash? Or, walk all the way over to the shared bin?

Sounds like great potential for a bootleg trash can market

We had ours removed a while ago. There were sanitizer wipes but hasn't been replenished in a while. Does anyone go around doing checks to see what needs to be replaced?

I had to crawl under the cube desk I typically occupy to retrieve an item. Several layers of hardened nose goblins and other oogy badoogy.

None of the hubs will have trash cans at individual desks. Only common trash receptacles in the main aisles of the building and in the break room.
