I am in risk in Portland and all I can say is wow! They stuck me in a call center environment and am highly graded and accomplished and would have my own office at another company. There’s very little conference space and privacy is non-existent. I would guess many will leave because of this environment, and for the Bank, that works almost as good as a layoff.

The entire HR team in Minneapolis is in a call center environment, even those that are “highly graded” too. It’s awful.
They’re trying to get you to leave and then disperse your work to others and not replace you.
The one hour commute home in the dark and rain tonight was sure memorable.
US Bank making memories. It’s all about US
None of you have the cojones to leave
I got a note from a doctor friend for "excessivus flatulentia" and received two 90 day delays so far.
I put in a 90-day delay because of transportation issues. The office has no suitable bus or Max routes. This was approved by and manager and HR with a return in mid-March. Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me at the 2025 annual review.
"Never knew the bank treated call center employees so poorly."
Well, for now they all get to remain permanently remote. At least they have that going for them.
To be fair they put everyone in Portland in the same cr-ppy building. At least it’s in a convenient location near nothing.
My RTO put me in the center of a collections call center building.
I’m a credit analyst in corporate banking.
It’s horrible. No privacy, no meeting rooms.
Went from sharing a floor with division heads to this.
Never knew the bank treated call center employees so poorly.
Yeah, but just think about the opportunities for collaboration and camaraderie
