I hope you all land on your feet soon. 2 weeks severance pay just tells you what kind of a company you were working for. As for the rest of us - now we know if we haven’t already.

The real issue with all these ongoing cuts is - why these are happening at all.
The 'why' being the fa-t in the room that is not being addressed to either those who are laid-off, managers (who are not consulted and losing team members) and those colleagues who are sat in the very same teams wondering if they are next..?
This will be the layoff that is going to break the camels back, as many remaining are seriously questioning it all, from the poor timing, zero communications to affected teams, terrible communications (isn't it always!), serious lack of consideration to those teams affected with more mounting work for those left behind.
The team I was part of (IS) had a number of people cut loose globally, with the guys left behind seriously considering their futures.
Good luck to everyone looking for roles and those who are about to tender their resignation - there is a better world out there, you just have to find it.
