I have applied to over 20+ positions. I am well accomplished in my career and am looking to move up. I went to a webinar in the summer where someone from Centene HR mentioned that just a little over 33% of internal candidates were hired, and the rest were external! WTF! I get hiring the right persons. But so many of us are being "stretched" (working as leaders without the title nor pay) in our current jobs and unable to reap any benefits.
Anyone else?
