Does this company track computer clicks? If so, can you see the program running on task manager?

OP is overemployed
This is not a question that should be asked of any employer. Every company monitors their systems. Is this your first job?
This person is clearly trying or attempting to work multiple jobs. Over employed. Busted
Yes. It's real. It's a blanket program and they can look at EVERYTHING. They can see when you have any templates open that you use for utilization Review, every program that has been opened and how long. If you work through your lunch they can see it because they will line up the time you clocked out with any program that was open during that time. I thought it was common knowledge. It breaks down what percentage of your day was spent in each program, and provides screen shots. Even teams.
They took screenshots every ten minutes for my entire shift for several days. My production and quality both exceed goal.
Typically it goes like this: BTS needs approval from HRBP who needs approval from VP or higher. Same goes for accessing your files, emails, and chats after you’re termed.
The above may be different for certain roles (eg csr, claims processing) where productivity is monitored very closely.
Who requests it? What triggers the request?
If you aren’t under the microscope you’re at the liberty to work and get it done as you and your boss see fit. If you are on the outs - you’ll notice your screen glitching. The payload of backend monitoring will be higher. And you might even see your bosses name at the end of your name in workday when it used to just say yours.
You can see all connected monitors. Even the service desk tech support folks can do that when they respond to help tickets. It can scan and at least try to read the hardware information on connected devices. That’s not an exact science though. It keeps track of what networks you connect to and for how long, log on/off, lock/unlock.
It’s simple event tracking with random screen captures from your monitors.
Not trying to freak anyone out - I just assumed this was all common knowledge.
It’s patterns of behavior that get triggered.
To the person who listed how to get to it…does it pickup both monitors if you’re using 2? I’ve always wondered how that worked…like I always have my Word doc on one monitor and the Centene programs on the other so I always wonder if they think I’m only in word all day lol…8 years and no one has said a thing though so I guess I must be good haha
Yes. Clicks, programs running, teams status, program window focused, time in one program, random desktop screen grabs, mouse movements and clicks. I think it may also work on DRM’d work mobile phones.
All that said, it’s not like IT or HR just opens all that up to a people leader. There usually needs to be something serious going on to get that approval.
If you’re working and doing your job you don’t have to worry about that.
What program would that be
