Empty building, sell them to an outsider and then rent them back. Have Ford pay for REPAIRS on everything for LANDLORD. Great business model no wonder stock is 9.00 something
It was very cool sitting at TFAC. I imagine that the Train Station will be cool too. Those of us who chose to go there were ok with the city tax implication. It was worth it.
must be nice to have your name on the side of a building to get away for such a debacle. Anyone other than a Ford would have been fired. Wall Street you bankers need to start questioning these bad decisions from the Board or JF...
Because of things like this the BOD and Senior management need to go. All those empty buildings in Dearborn so they dumped nearly a billion dollars into the mess.

Billy Ford should have paid for the Train Station out of his own pocket and not had the struggling automaker pay for it. With all the empty buildings around Dearborn the Train Station buildings were not remotely needed.
Every time I rage against the train 🚂 station, I get shouted down by the “Detroit is coming back” crowd. What a bunch of $&@#. Ford wasted hundreds of millions of dollars 💸 on something which is going to sit there empty with the exception of the poor SOBs who are forced to go there for “work”. They should have dynamited 🧨 the place.
Anyone who thinks Detroit will ever be back when the Democrat leadership steals from the city is crazy. And Ford was crazy buying the train station
