Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

No Confidence vote for Gail

I think the board needs to take a no confidence vote on Gail.
I've seen some lean times during my >20 years, but this is the worst i've seen Rif's, and they seem to be getting bigger and more frequent.
How much money did she spend on remodeling every office? How much money is it costing to force us all into the office for no reason?
What was the price tag on the unless name change?
How much money has been wasted under her watch?

I vote no confidence.

@3dxf+1vvuTrpF - This is how business works, although I sincerely doubt the company is LITERALLY going downhill.😉

This company is literally going downhill. I dont understand how they are letting SO many people go but they aren't giving the people staying any pay increases for the increase in workload. They would rather give everyone things that have "Elevance Health" smeared all over it when the employees DON'T want it!!! They want better pay for the increased workload!!!

They should give us T-shirts that say "I put in years of hard work for & got RIF'D from Evilance and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"

Whether it’s Gail or someone else, the future trajectory of this company will be the same.

We are expendable assets, pawns to be used for the financial benefit of stakeholders.

For those that are 100% remote or have been here several years, it’s not a matter of “if”, but “when”.

This company should consider volunteers for RIFs. If too many signup, do a lottery.

I don’t understand why there is always lying and secrecy around RIFs. Why not say it’s possible. If they are eliminating our jobs what does it hurt for us to start looking and voluntarily give it up? We were told multiple time by two VPs out positions were safe and it was written in the HR contract jobs would not be eliminated. TheN BAM. I don’t understand

When they opened up the newly redecorated building, err, “PulsePoint”, they gave out branded backpacks, T-shirts, and some computer kit (Bluetooth mouse and keyboard). I’d rather they saved the money and kept my coworkers on board. No one knows when we might be next. The stress isn’t worth a T-shirt.

I want a free t-shirt just so I can wipe my a$$ with it...or maybe light it on fire.

I did not get a free t-shirt when the company's name changed. I want my free shirt. I can use it the next time I detail my car to remove wax. :)

How could you ask “ What was the price tag on the useless name change? “ Best thing they could possibly do. We all got a free T-shirt!
Yeah, it’s a dumpster fire.

Not to mention they didn’t bother to give anyone a cost of living raise during the last 4 years and stuck with the stand 2% raises if you got one at all. They clearly don’t care about employees.
