Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Just put yourself on autopilot

Strictly within office hours, no extra effort. Use all the time you have to reach out to your contacts, update skills, polish your resume. I’ve been working on exit for two months now. Avaya has been going downhill for a while now, and I don’t want to be taken down with it. It’s better to look for other opportunities now than when jobless and desperate.

Great advise.
Not sure about other countries, but it sure looks Avaya is de-investing in Canada.

If they do another one this soon I wonder how many get "exited" this time. Although I have not seen how many where affected this last time either.

Are you serious? It took until this long to realize it? Likely 5 years too late..but better late than never
