If they fire you will you likely get severance. If your retirement eligible will you get your retirement perks whatever they still are?

@piv this is how you find out what your director thinks of your team. We all got me with a ee. They were clearly making a paper trail for those they wanna keep

From my 50 years of experience in the corporate world they use these for RIF's when needed. Your manager is kind enough to convey to you to start looking elsewhere. You can NEVER change their perception of you once it's established. Learn from this and grow so that this doesn't happen at the next company. 99% of the people I've seen this happen to never learn or grow so they repeat this cycle in the next position. This is free advice ponder it!

"Learn the rules and stop posting nonsense cuz you are an insecure snowflake..."

Correction here. The smart thing to do is not care about these evaluations at all because they simply don't matter. Give lip service or do whatever you have to do to get out of these pointless meetings and back to work. Anyone that tells you they can measure productivity in a company as big as that is likely smoking some really good stuff. This is all just BS for a management metric that doesn't matter but looks nice on some report somewhere. Ignore it so you can get back to work.

Nobody gets meets expectations or exceeds expectations across the board. Unless you are walking on water. They always put one or two as needs improvement. That’s how the game is played. Learn the rules and stop posting nonsense cuz you are an insecure snowflake.

Maybe. Get you cr-p together and have a plan. You should have one anyway. PIPs are a joke. As soon as you catch wind of one coming down to you start looking for another job. It's pointless to even know how they work because they only work one way, and that's shuttling you out of the company. Don't put yourself through that BS and don't get caught up in the details of how it works because it doesn't matter. If you get put under a PIP, act sorry, act like you'll try to do better while you look for another job %100 of the time. If they are going to put you on a PIP they expect nothing from you anyway and are just covering their rear so they can say they gave you a chance before they fire you. Do just enough work to not sc--w over your co-workers (not their fault) until you find other employment.

It is much easier to get another job while still employed. Your manager is starting the process of getting you to leave. Your manager is going to set you up to either leave or get laid off. You will see your manager will not invite you to meetings, set you up to fail and on your next PR it will be worse (if you are around then) and you are already on the layoff list. Please take the hint and start looking for another job.
