Things feel off

Things feel off around the company this week. Can someone spill the beans on what the he-l is going on?

Some marketing were let folks go this week— a few years ago, many were asked to reapply for their job. Their reward was a job elimination 2 years later!

All while the brand metric continues its decline

Looks like this site has jumped the shark. Where are people posting now with the latest gossip?

Maybe people are getting ready for Thanksgiving and thinking about spending time with their inlaws ? :<

Call it what you want. Layoff, job elimination, canned, etc.

There were a few people that lost their jobs this week in Jessica Barker’s organization.

There were also layoffs in Nuveen per FundFire.

Not a good time for these people and their families around the holidays. But let’s all pretend at TIAA that everything is great.

There were no layoffs. If you're going to say there were, call out the team. This site is full of bunk. If you don't have real info, why post? If you're not leaking confidential info, what's the point? We come here for inside info, not vague messages that aren't even true.

And no, 1 or 2 people being let go isn't a layoff.

Looks like we have our own DOGE.
Bunch of hypocrites - want your friend to be the President but within company you want to act like President Elect.

Lies lies lies. Monday came and went... and no announcement. There's no news. This site is a joke.

So what was the big news

TIAA is not selling Nuveen. They literally cannot afford to give up control. Nuveen is their money maker. TIAA has the financial advisors and Nuveen has the funds.

Nuveen is actively making an acquisition, not the other way around

Ever since T has taken over the regime, things have always been off, nothing surprising here.

Maybe that’s why Jose left?

Ha, I doubt TIAA is selling their global asset manager. In May this year TIAA rebranded all TC funds and TCLF funds Nuveen. And TIAA’s new logo has green in it because of Nuveen.

TIAA would only sell Nuveen in an emergency right now. Not seeing that being the case.

Is the person you heard it from Mr nuveen in the room here with us?

What a joke, fear mongering at its best

How can they sell off Nuveen if that’s the only part of the business that makes any money?

That would be the stupidest thing that we could do… and, on second thought, aligns perfectly with T’s vision of devaluing the company for an easy acquisition by Chase.

From what I’ve heard, they’re selling off Nuveen, and the new firm buying it is scrapping the name entirely. It’s absolutely infuriating how TIAA manages to ruin everything they touch. Unbelievable.
