We are all very anxious, and information is scarce. Thank you.

I echo what others have said that it’s a clique-y place led by many VPs promoted beyond what they can do. I worked on several reorgs where the chaos in the decision making was so apparent: two different instances of people starting out on the chopping block- but ultimately getting promoted once things were announced! So I guess good that upper management got cleaned out? But I don’t get the rationale for gutting Marketing and Operations- the two primary functions of a business. It wasn’t the same once Arne and Stephanie were gone!
I am not an associate but a contractor working at corporate. Wondering if this will affect me.
I'm a receptionist and I'm from the HR department, I was sent away on Friday. I was informed that my position will be terminated. In Europe, the guest services departments were eliminated, marketing operations and sales have a lot of possibilities.
Sales, media, content, brand marketing and HR, large cuts!
Global operations and sales have taken a hard hit, many VP's were forced into retirement in this sector.
A WARN notice is required 60 days prior to the layoffs, whereas I received the WARN notice two days AFTER I was informed my position is being eliminated.
From another external website - The company, based in Bethesda, Maryland, filed a WARN (Work Adjustment and Retraining Notifications) notice with the state about the layoffs, a source said. The state had yet to post the notice online.
All the job postings will be opened up internally
Are all these new postings internal only postings?
If your position was eliminated, you should have already been notified. Posting went up today at noon ET and will stay up until Monday noon ET.
My team falls under HR and we had the call today. No useful information for us (we're outside the US and a recent addition to the HR structure) so we're still in limbo. But a lot of VPs in HR are gone and people are having to reapply for their jobs. The exec talking about the postings for the new jobs was horribly lacking in empathy.
VPs, Strategy, Marketing and Design, Ambassador, loyalty, IT, brands, global operations, delivery, security have all been affected. I cannot confirm if there is more teams.
