No offence to dear colleagues who actually lost their jobs, but some us left behind feel a part of your pain.

Uppers don’t care and will work us to death. Look at our retention rate - 2 years on average! I hope I get laid off so I can get somewhat of a bonus and move on. So sick of the BS at this company. “This is our best quarter.” Said Lisa about a year ago then gives us a low bonus. Something doesn’t line up and I think AI is going to bust and everything else since we’re so heavily invested.
Our team has been hit with 5 reductions in 3 years. We keep loosing people and silicon quality is reducing. Today we staged a sit down in our office canteen and were told to get back to work by security. We are all overworked already and Lisa not listening to our managers about overworked since 2017. My colleague died in Covid due to being told to come in and he got overworked and stressed.
Yes, those alternating Thursdays are going feel especially painful... to those left behind.
