You have me wrong, I'm not ex. It's understandable this is a terrible message to swallow, but leadership has wasted yours and my efforts on unfruitful strategies. The business outcomes and stock performance are staring us in the face yet denial persists I see. That's ok, but you should ask yourself how has Viasat rewarded emps and shareholders as warriors for their strategy?

Think through the chess moves and you'll circle the drain on the same outcome. Oh, there will be much effort spent on talking otherwise, but until Guruberg insert Viasat into the same space policy, business, govt efficiency, and relevance decision loop that Musk is then Viasat's outcome is determined - down and to the right. If you can provide contrary forecasts I'm all ears, but you will have to overcome the weight of 5+ years of failure to adapt to disruption.

NO OTHER OUTCOME! Well, there you have it. Viasat might as well just shut down now as the “facts are irrelevant”

I understand all you say, yes rules exist. But the facts (though interesting) are irrelevent. The Trusk bro-mance will erode Viasat's business because Musk has a direct line to Trump on all things space policy/business and will bypass any established reviews/boards/norms which are perceived to be instruments of the "deep state". Musk has many paths to cut off all oxygen from Viasat, Kuiper, anybody else. There is no other outcome.

People act as if Musk can wave a magical wand and make Viasat government revenue vanish. The reality is he was appointed as an advisory independent of government to make recommendations on how to cust government spending across the board and restructure government agencies. The reality is this is a political stunt performance for Republican voters to show how they are working to cut “waste”. Any recommendation would then have ti work its way through government. Also, government contracts go through bidding process and are decided independently by the agencies not musk himself. There are still rules to spread government contracts across various players in the ecosystem. It’s not musk saying yea or nea. Also, most of the government business viasat has isn’t in direct competition to starlink.

This is the reason for the relentless selling of the stock in the past week.
