Well this was unexpected. But based on internal email it appears that centene president ken fasola is retiring next year. Any thoughts?

@3ykj+1vsN3VMx CNC is down over 19% which is not, uh, rising. “record profits” is also not true. complain away on Magellan but get your facts straight.
He was a real shady player at Magellan. Sold the company to Centene, who sold off all the profitable divisions and left the remnants to hang like dying fruit. Centene has not invested a dime in Magellan. There were almost no bonuses paid last year and raises of two percent. We have gotten three emails this year telling us that 2025 will be worse. Yet, Centene stock keeps rising and reporting record profits. He obviously knew that Magellan was being given a metaphorical shove off the cliff when he made the deal to save himself and go to Centene. But Derrick Duke keeps telling us to remember our mission. Like we are church volunteers or something.
The deeper true is that people don't retire from those jobs, they get retired. Oh yeah he was "nice and genuine" so are most people. . He backstabbed a lot of people and threw others under the bus, worse he was there taking space, flying the jet and showing off his Rolex, not any worse than Drew and Sarah, but that's where shittene is
Retiring….ya know. He’ll be announcing his new gig in less than 6 months.
RE: Bring on the hate, something positive to say
I'm sure he was a great leader and all-around swell person.
With that being said:
- Claiming anyone with a comp of $10M+ was "well deserved" lives in a fantasy land. I have no doubt he was a lot of things: intelligent, prepared, committed, but he was also lucky. Anyone who survives the political game to land a C-suite position was fortunate.
"It's hard to detect good luck, it looks so much like something you've earned."
- Surrounding yourself with positive mentors doesn't = landing at that level.
- Your recurring exclamation points, misspelled words (FFS, we don't come to your layoff board and call it "Human"), overall poor grammar, and desire to somehow censor the word "ru-p" are hurting my eyes. Maybe surround yourself with a net positive spellcheck (like any Microsoft program) and you might have a chance.
“Retiring”
somehow I don’t think he’ll be reduced to clipping coupons. total compensation for 2023 = $9,982,686
They're dropping like flies
Retiring or "retiring"
