They will layoff at any age at any time whenever they want. The severance agreement has plenty of legal ease to make sure they are covered. A Job Title and Age List is always produced for any layoff as it's required by law.

At least 1 round every qtr has been the norm for the past decade. The urgency to offshore has accelerated so may be more frequent. It all depends on what acquisition is being absorbed and dismantled. I would presume this template will go forward in the future

Very true. Across the board. All areas are being asked to meet cost cuts and only way is to rif even more. Make the lists now and execute early next year. It will be very rough.

Rumor has it that something big is coming for Optum. Lists have been generated with employee's ages so they don't pick to many people from certain age groups.
