Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Souheil

Probably time to bring this discussion up. What exactly are his accomplishments with the bank to date? What were his credentials and/or achievements for getting hired by the bank in the first place?

Sorry, but this post just like the Jodi post sounds like it's full of some that are just bitter and racists. People who are threatened by minorities and women. It's laughable. Keyboard warriors who would never say this in real-time in person. You are making the site and real grievances irrelevant with these type of posts. Get a life already and find a new damn job.

Sorry - calling people racists and bigots in order to stop a conversation that you don't like is no longer an effective strategy. Those words lost all of their power one week ago. Didn't you get the memo?

It’s a fair point, the execs, for the most part, come from unconventional backgrounds and educations that don’t seem typical of a bank. We are starting to see the consequences of hiring under qualified and under educated people into exec roles. The decision making, attention to detail, and ability to think strategically all seem to be lacking with the execs.

Maybe, just maybe, people are waking up to the fact that a lot of problems at US Bank are self inflicted by senior management. When you look at those in those positions, many are from diverse backgrounds and should be questioned when things go south like they have been. It's disingenuous to say racism when these are well founded questions due to our ship slowly sinking... but keep saying racism to hide

If you play up your immigrant story like he does, isn’t it fair that he answer a couple questions about his immigrant status as well?

What kind of racist sh-t is this? Why are you questioning his credentials and looking into his college? Find something that actually pertains to you and your life to focus on.

I have no idea who Souheil is but I am of the opinion that you don’t need an Ivy League education to be successful in business or anything else.

My goodness, is the guy even eligible to work in America? Did he intentionally list a defunct random BS college because he knew nobody would actually check to see if he attended?

From Wikipedia: “Cardinal Stritch University was a private Roman Catholic university with its primary campus in Fox Point and Glendale, Wisconsin. Its enrollment as of fall 2021 was 1,365. The university closed in May 2023 due to financial challenges and declining enrollment.”

WTF indeed 🤣🤣🤣
