I’ve been trying to hang on, in hopes that this place would get better but it hasn’t. It is starting to affect my mental health and my home life. I’m wondering if anybody would be as kind to share job opportunities or steps they took to help increase their chances of finding another job. If I could have, I would have put in my notice today. i’m also willing to take a pay decrease if needed.

I worked for Anthem (Elevance) for 5 years. I really enjoyed my job and loved the people I worked with. When I decided it was time to post out for a better paying position, unfortunately..I ended up in a market that was part of the RIF of 10/23. I have found another job although it took months..my advice. If you're in Claims, stay there! Do not get su-ked into a promotion in Ops or something similar..they are definitely downsizing those and eliminating anything close. Just saying. Good luck 👍 💓
Are Octobers always the worst RIF?
"If the petition is approved, the H-1B visa will be issued, and the beneficiary’s start date will be October 1st."

Rif’d in April, came back. I made a list of pros and cons what I could do/couldn’t do. Prioritize, example, job closer to home, so going into the office becomes less of a burden. Obviously pay, can you take a cut for less stress.. just examples.
My spouse was RIFd in June and is still out of work - good luck
I am feeling the same. Lack of motivation at work and at life. Time to move on but job market is not good, either.
Set up job alerts on LinkedIn and Indeed. Start networking on LinkedIn. Update your resume. Ask friends and acquaintances for referrals to open positions at their workplaces(. Good luck.
I am experiencing the same thing mentally and physically. Apply internally and externally. Our competitors are looking for those who already have experience in this industry.
I am kinda going through the same. Although I don't work much, I am not in my team because it's full of toxic and wannabe a-s kissers. I would say apply internally instead of external jobs. Applying for internal jobs is easy because you don't have to go through so many checks etc.
