I'm in ANI in one of the India-dominated teams and agree with that. Our management doesn't know how to say no to anything and designs constantly change at the drop of a hat with zero push back.
The Indian developers are great, but their (and my) management is appalling.
Any of y'all in ANI laid off, how are those packages looking? I'm hearing some got a year's salary to walk away!
I was one of the ones impacted in ani too. I'm taking the quick and easy route out the door, the package on offer is generous to be fair to the company and honestly I think it'll be the best for both my career and mental health.

Good luck to those impacted today and in the future. Lots of very nice people in this company but unfortunately those at the top only care about the cost. At least I'll be in store for a pay rise once I secure a new role.

I was impacted - I was RIF’d. MANY people were let go yesterday across all locations, not just ANI. Very sad day indeed. I feel sorry for those left to pick up the pieces. It’s not going to be easy for them.
Lost a lot of people from D&IS today. Very sad. I was fortunate to be on the “if you are here, your job is safe” call. Totally disgusted by the number let go. My small team lost 40% of staff. I really didn’t want to work after that … they should have given all the day off to deal with the bloodbath. Leadership has no sympathy or class. And it wasn’t just worker bees let go, lost some senior and above folks. So sorry for my teammates.

Couldn’t agree more those who constantly complain on this site are exactly the ones who will sit back and do nothing to further themselves and be here next year complaining about the same thing. Waiting on severance is a dodgy game in this market without having the ability to snap an opportunity up immediately. The market is awful so what severance you get will be spent whilst trying to find another opportunity. Be grateful for what you have or move on. Elephant or no elephant.
