Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Leadership Changes, JE’s, what Organization is safe these days?

Too many Lay-offs, Leadership Changes, Organization Restructures, Acquisitions!
There are definite lay-off’s approaching again in December and 2025.
Does anyone feel secure? Seems like our management doesn’t even feel secure.
With that in mind, What organizations or job positions are considered having job security?

The Cigna Group will host an “Impacted Employee Forum” on 11/13 for those impacted by recent layoffs. I don’t know the number of people and assume it’s across the enterprise.

Job market was doing great 2016 to 2020. Things took a nose dive after that w layoffs from many companies. Just google layoffs every week and you will see. Let’s hope the job market picks up and we find better positions than being stuck in this toxic company.

I spazz every Thursday that isn't a pay week. The stress is awful. I know not everyone does but I like my job a lot, I don't want to lose it. I am lucky having a good manager and department. I know many others aren't that lucky though and I feel for everyone.
