How many guys with 20 years on the railroad have a resume ready ? Let’s be realistic here. Anyone with that much service has their eyes on 60/30 with full retirement in the crosshairs. Even if it means moving, changing railroads or crafts, or any thing that keeps ringing up the numbers on their BA-6 card.
No surprise in 25. Easy to figure out. The new forms are time studies designed to eliminate jobs. So layoffs are likely systemwide.
Is the sky blue? That new form serves one purpose to prove if every single employee has a hour of down time its time to cut.
No rumors or news, but heard some chatter. Id keep a resume handy if less than 20 years service.
