Just received a VM on my personal phone from a law firm that is investigating Elevance. The individual asked for 15-20 minutes of my time. I called back and had a very transparent conversation as I was happy to share what I knew. I dont want to get into specifics of the conversation, but it generally had to do with Medicaid redeterminations and the MLR we reported this past quarter. Anyone else get a call? Hoping the company gets slapped with a few class action lawsuits. The ELT and Board deserve it and I was happy to do my part!

The people who think bc they did a great job for years they shouldn’t be laid off….you’re missing the point. It’s all about money, baby. Especially the people who were hired back when it was Amerigroup and we were making a ton of money. I was laid off and my old job is already reposted in Work Day for a significantly lower salary.
Sometimes the company will hire an outside law firm to see who talks. It's like those spam emails the company sends to see who's clicking on them and could put the company at risk
I agree with @1wko+1vmqvVk6. If there are ethical or legal concerns and OP hasn't reported them, that's weak. If the law firm is just fishing and OP has nothing and is just helping them fish, that's weak too. Either way for the associates who are left this can be nothing but bad. It is not Gail or her incompetent team who will be impacted, it is us normal people.
As a laid off employee, I’m stuck trying to find another role. More than ten years with this company through multiple transitions and I was a top performer every year. Not even a question from HR was given when my name was submitted. Makes you wonder. Now I’ve got to find another role and worry about being able to afford to live all while pockets of people driving the company to the ground are fat with cash. I received a call from a law firm about the same Medicaid issue, however I cannot comment or be a part as I will lose any pay:benefits from them as part of separation.
Well I hope all the people that got laid off sue them for replacing them with low paying people in the Philippines and India. What a disgrace of a company. Now all those people have to start all over looking for jobs while getting unemployment.
If you actually did that I hope the law firm names you. I'm good with employees like you being included in a layoff.
This is kind of id--tic to wish for. Yes we can hate the company, but as an employee, I'd rather not have the company go to he-l and being the next to be laid off... which if you're on this site, it's on your mind already.
GB and her directs are getting hit with many many sanctions and lawsuits behind the scenes. It will all come to surface soon. What she did to this company will come back full circle to her. United Healthcare got rid of her for a good reason.
I'm holding out for the investor fraud class action lawsuit. Cannot wait to see that one.

Never heard of this but there are multiple eeoc complaints and suits.
