"For example, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were surplussed this past Tuesday."

LMAO!! Would love to hear your comparison of the COBC and the way things really work.

Impact can include the elements Affect and Harm, but they are not always a negative thing. For example, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were surplussed this past Tuesday. Millions were affected by it, but no one was harmed beyond what could be mitigated by offering cookies and milk. Back to the question from the OP, sometimes the community benefits from Cuts.

T doesn't care. T cares about what you can do for T.

what's the community impact?

I'm more worried about the impact on the employee and his/her family. The community doesn't get a second thought.

No impact whatsoever. T is no longer a major employer, now considered a small fish.

Question is: how does T get impacted in the long run? Employees are customers too and they also have friends and family. Remember, at one time we advocated for T to use our product and services? now turn that to 360, all employees cut and tortured will NOT be promoting T as a company and all its services. T thinks that cutting thousands of employees + torturing them help their cashflow, sure, short term. It is always a short term goal because Stankey and his minions have zero capacity to think long term.

The Stink loves negative impacts!

Now the Stink can claim a new one:

  • Stink loves to torture employess
  • Stink loves to S C R E W over shareholders
  • Stink loves to S C R E W over customer

and now...

  • Stink loves to ruin communities he pulls out of!

Go F U C K yourself Stink!

A couple of Cosco stores in cities where there have been large cuts have shuttered.

We’re making up for it by having the survivors commute to the office.
