I sat through a presentation yesterday were senior managers said connect week snacks were a “win” for the year… knowing the snacks stopped and people were upset about it. Then they talked about how they know we’re underpaid but there’s nothing that’s going to be done about it. Love wasting my time to hear people talk out of both sides of their faces.

Rewards are bought and sold.

They could open up the RTO exception process like they said they would. Folks that care for seniors, live too far from the site, don’t work with anyone in the same site, get VP approval (not some central office that just declines everyone). I don’t really think they will, but they could. Unfortunately as long as Fido keeps getting these “best employer” awards they won’t care what the pulse survey says.

You can’t backtrack RTO it would be a sign of weakness and you can’t let the inmates feel like they could run the asylum… employees must be put in their place.

What’s the point? They’ll just say the same sh-t again “we heard you but we are staying the course”
