Mary is still working it out the since the last 5 years, even this year the payment if it arrives has slipped from March to December.

Merit increases are coming, I don’t know how big or small but they are happening and eligible employees will get something.
Likely he will be transferring depts and staff offshore (From US sites) to cheaper cost centres in Mexico - where staff can be hired cheaply; simply sack more expensive US Workers.
Same thing happened in UK / Europe where companies (inc DXC / CSC) offshored their IT Depts to cheaper Asia countries such as India
It must be a cr-p life being the CEO of a sh-t company. No wonder he wants to get as much out of it while he can as anyone else. Keep your head in the sand and hope you manage to cash in all your stock options before it totally crashes and burns.
