In recent earnings call Chevron’s Wirth said it's "premature" to talk about job cuts but flagged the company would be changing "where and how we do some of our work." It recently opened up an engineering and IT hub in Bengaluru, India. Sound familiar?

The Chevron lockstep is by design. Time to reunite cousins, and put current disputes aside.
It won’t last long. At least Chevron will realize Exxon doesn’t have a clue when start receiving these “designs”. They will abandon it quick while Exxon continues to beat the square peg in the round hole with a mall while blaming employees for the failures.
This cr-p needs to stop. Who cares about AI when all these types of jobs are leaving the country. So cheap labor is coming in. Decent jobs are leaving. Hmm
Same “strategy” sold by the same consulting firms. Good job for them: you do one study and sell it to 10 different customers. You just have to change the client logo in the PowerPoint deck… 😁
HW3 squared...
Chevron is already recruiting in Bangalore.
I hope hundreds of our BTC colleagues jump to Chevron for a big pay increase.
